New Life Lavender Farm | Baraboo, Wisconsin

Now in their 9th season, New Life Lavender Farm in Baraboo, Wisconsin offers visitors a unique experience. Open fields of lavender, 8 acres of wildflowers, farm tours, wagon rides, and a beautiful farm store with gifts and sweet treats, you will enjoy your visit from start to finish.

Location, Hours, & Admission

New Life Lavender Farm is located at E10766 County Road W in Baraboo, Wisconsin.  This is just a quarter mile west of the Highway 12 Bypass Exit 219.

New Life Hours: Open May through September – Tuesdays -Saturdays between 10am and 5pm. Sunday hours added during peak season. Check the website for more information!

Admission Fees

Admission fees for New Life:  Fees are $10 for non-peak season (May 30 – June 20).  Fees are $15 during peak season (June 20-July 20).  Kids are free (age 2 and under).  Enjoy a wagon ride, new in 2025! Rides are included in the price of admission. Book tickets online.

Wildflowers

Don’t forget to walk the path through 8 beautiful acres of wildflowers!  This is a beautiful part of the property you don’t want to miss. You’ll see native purple coneflower, blazing star, penstemon, bee balm, native sunflowers, and many others!

New Life Lavender Farm | Store

Don’t end your visit without a visit to the farm store!  On the day of my visit, a harpist was playing inside the farm store – such a treat!  You’ll find unique lavender themed gifts, pies, treats, and lavender ice cream!  I wasn’t sold on it until the first bite, but it’s delicious!

New Life Lavender Farm | Pet Policy

Your favorite pets are permitted in the parking area only, but must be leashed. Service animals are permitted.  Pets must be supervised, and dog waste must be cleaned up.

Lavender Uses 

The soothing fragrance of lavender is only one of its unique properties.  Lavender is an herb, one with many therapeutic uses.  From stress relief to improved sleep, the scent of lavender has a calming effect.  Lavender is used as an analgesic for muscle aches, insect bites, alleviation of headaches.  It is used in baking, and added to coffees and teas.

As an added bonus…..Did you know that the scent of lavender deters flies, mosquitoes, and other pesky insects!
